Online event: remote.af Virtual Obeya
Показать описание
As a community we are in the earliest stages of the greatest productivity hack of a generation. To unlock this potential, teams and organizations need the information to identify tension and improvement opportunities in the way we work. One way we can do this is Virtual Obeya.
Obeya is the Japanese word for "large room" and comes from Lean Manufacturing. Virtual Obeya acts as a central source of information, supporting multiple organisational perspectives and adapts to the needs of the users. Be it lead and lag indicators of business performance at the Enterprise level, or to gain insight into the system in order to make fact based and expedient directional decisions at the Team of Teams level. Each Mado, Japanese for "window", captures a key aspect of information for critical decision making.
In this interactive workshop we participate in an interactive experiment - designing a virtual obeya for a team.
Agenda:
● Introductions and Community News ~ 5 mins
● Overview of the Remote Agility Framework ~ 10 mins
● Introduction of the Virtual Obeya ~ 5 mins
● Story.Me cards ~ 10 mins
● Team Virtual Obeya design ~20 mins
● Closing ~ 10 mins

remote:af overview
Designed for all levels of business and organisations of all sizes, the Remote Agility Framework is a compass you can use to navigate the shifting landscape of distributed and hybrid teams. The Remote Agility Framework is:
● Remote first framework. It is designed from ground up to enable effective remote, distributed and hybrid working.
● Modular. It’s designed so that you can use components independently or as a complete framework for remote working. No need to change what’s working.
● Agnostic. It can be applied as an extension to your existing practices or as a new way of working, it works with modern virtual collaboration tools.
● Extensible. The Remote Agility Framework is designed to emerge the right solution from your organisation. Regardless of scale and complexity.
