Use Control Solution - OneTouch Verio Flex

This video shows the steps to use the control solution with OneTouch Verio Flex. This information can be used for One Touch Select Plus Simple blood glucose monitoring meter also.

When to do a control solution test
1. When you open a new vial of test strips.
2. If you suspect that the meter or test strips are not working properly.
3. If you have had repeated unexpected blood glucose readings.
4. If you drop or damage the meter

HOW TO USE:
1. Shake the control solution bottle well.
2. Remove the bottle cap, discard the first 2 drops and use a tissue to wipe away any solution around the tip.
3. Squeeze a small drop of control solution onto a clean nonabsorbent surface.
4. Immediately touch the tip of the test strip to the drop of control solution.
5. Compare the reading obtained to the range printed on the test strip bottle.
