If the game is Canon, then she be Pomfreys mother or grandmother, I'd assume grandmother, due to the fact that during war in both muggle and wizard worlds, people tend to get married and have kids at a younger age, and I at least dont know Madam Pomfreys age(I don't know if Rowling revealed that info)

Considering this. Hogwarts Legacy was taken in the year 1890 and Poppy Pomfrey was born sometime before 1954. I say Poppy Sweeting has less chance of being Poppy Pomfrey. Much less being relative to each other.

It's not like Ominis Gaunt who has about a 95% chance of being Voldemort Great Granduncle... And yes, it is 95% as there could be a chance that Marvolo Gaunt is Ominis' older brother.

It would mean that she is older than Dumbledore which I highly doubt madame pomfrey is 117 Years old

The reasons this could not be her
1. Her name: Poppy Pomfrey (wait I'm getting there ik she could've had her name changed yes I'm aware yadayadayada)
2. She was the nurse during the Marauders era
3.the game is set 12 years before Harry Potter books/movies AFTER the Marauders era
4. She was born in 1932 on February 5th
5. She went to Hogwarts 1943
6. Pomfrey is her maiden name she did not marry
