Uveitis is a clinical spectrum of symptoms and signs caused by a variety of #medical conditions. It is caused by the inflammation of the middle layer of the eye, called the uvea or uveal tract. Uveitis causes 10-15% of blindness and needs to be managed carefully. The main #treatment of Uveitis is steroid medication (corticosteroids), which reduces the inflammation inside the eye.
