I'm a mitsuri cosplayer as well and I got everything from Amazon (except shoes) for around $90 USD! I know kasou wigs has a super high quality mitsuri wig but i got one for around $28 on amazon :D

When I bought my Princess Peach dress recently I spent 138 dollars US and it’s survived me washing it more than once. It’s a shame you had to fix it after washing it only once if you pay that much on a cosplay it should hold up in the wash. Also I really appreciate these reviews they are very helpful to find out which websites are good to buy cosplay from so thanks for making these videos!.

It kinda sucks that the outfit fell apart the first time you washed it because it doesn't seem like it's worth nearly £100 - you pay that much for something and it should last at least one wash! (Also, the jacket Mitsuri (and by extension a lot of the Kny characters have) is called a Haori!)

Usually socks included in cosplay are too short for me, so having ones that are too long would be a positive.

As a plus sized cosplayer it's always a gamble for me getting cosplays either it fits or it doesn't there is no in between and it makes me super sad however that being said you can always edit it when you get it, I am sad that this cosplay fell apart in the wash though that should never happen especially on something so expensive. I don't like that cosplays from sites tend to be flimsy and it makes me so sad.

hii i was approached by this company too, but i ended up picking out clothes to alter into a cosplay outfit rather than a premade cosplay, partially because of the price limit i was given and because of the general content of my channel.

while scrolling through, i was really put off by the prices of the costumes, so hearing your thoughts was really interesting. I had a similar experience as you, the clothes fit well accdg to the size chart, and I like the materials, but the shorts i picked out had these details sewn on and after the first wash, most of the threads holding them in place were loose. The strap detailing on them was also uneven, which is not noticeable to most, but it did bother me a bit.

i also agree about the shipping, we discussed the video would be for halloween, but i didn't receive the items until mid-november. In the video i made using their items, i mostly said good things about them. They were the first company I had collaborated with and reviewed and i think i was very overwhelmed by the excitement of my first collab and receiving free items, so i kinda regret how not in-depth and critical my review was haha.

a bit off topic, but it was really cool getting to see that i got approached by the same company as a youtuber i really admire, and your review was definitely better than mine haha, I took a bunch of mental notes for what i should do in the future, thanks :>

I got my mitsuri cosplay on Ali express. With everything in for 50€. Everything was right. The wig was already crimped and a bit styled. And the socks also had gabs for the sandals :). This cosplay was rlly amazing and not expansive at all.

My dad washes my cosplays and he puts my stuff in a delicates bag and the worst cosplay damage i had was my zenitsu cosplaye buttons coming off so I really recommend investing in a delicates bag for your cosplays!! (Normaly im pretty sure normaly stuff like stuffed animals and stuff with hooks like bras)

I have been cosplaying since I was 13 and I always order from aliexpress because when I go on actual cosplay sites I just think it’s too much money. I also bought a mitsuri cosplay recently I spent $60 on the costume $12 on socks $20 for shoes and $36 on the wig so only $128 for everything
My zipper ended up breaking as they didn’t sew it on properly so the thread would let it zip but other than that everything was good quality and I normally find items with free shipping so I have always waited 2 months or 3 for my cosplay items

I’ve ordered from ezcosplay for my plus size friends first costume also demon slayer ($106 only costume no shoes or wig )and my costume is better material and more accurate to the sizing chart. Theirs ended up too big so I had to take everything in for them as well.

There is always some drawbacks buying from anywhere
