Bosch; 92% of it is Owned by a Charitable Foundation!

This week we will look at a company that is synonym with power tools and great quality products. However, as you might have guessed already, it is much more than that. Robert Bosch founded the company in 1886 in his backyard as The Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering. Their first product was a magneto for gas engines. This story explains the difficulties Bosch encountered when the world wars stained their reputation as they had to start anew.
