I think the chamber of knowledge is indeed there but what the construction of the “access tunnel” from the Tomb of the Birds shows is it’s not an entrance but a drainage conduit exit.
If Casey is correct, this Chamber of Knowledge would have been built when Egypt was far wetter and temperate. The facilities on the Giza Plateau would have had drainage out to or towards the Nile River.
What’s interesting is If the story of the Exodus if the Hebrews (The Hicksos in hieroglyphics) is true, then there is a parallel version of this idea, a protective drainage tunnel, also constructed by the Egyptian Stone Masons that Solomon swore to secrecy on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. That tunnel has been found and mapped to drain the Temple Mount.
That’s at least my theory for the shape of the tunnel and its location anyway. Might be something Robert Shock might want to check out to verify water erosion.
As a side note: if this was indeed a drainage conduit, the place of its exit would likely have been a lush marsh with birds and waterfowl everywhere. Hence the hieroglyphs of birds everywhere.

I have to say when Andrew Collins first brought this out, I've been convinced he is onto something. It coincides perfectly with The Emerald Tablets, written by Thoth, so the Tomb of the Birds totally relates to Thoth.
