Police news conference after FBI name suspect in New Orleans attack - Watch in full

Authorities in the United States hold a news conference after at least 10 people were killed when a vehicle struck a crowd celebrating the New Year in New Orleans.

At least another 35 people have been injured in the incident, which took place on the corner of the popular Bourbon Street, in the French Quarter of the city on Wednesday morning.

Hours earlier this this same FBI SAC said this was “not a terrorist event”, right after the mayor said it was. Now she says the FBI is “investigating it as an act of terrorism”. Is it not terrorism unless the FBI says so? Or does she suddenly know what she’s talking about?

This is part of the warning that US FBI Director Wray gave testimony to Congress about some months ago. One would think that after the Christmas attack at a German Christmas mart last month, better precautions would have been taken, as this the second recent drive around barricades attack. Regardless, this is what I would call reactive and not proactive security policing. This is no time for patting anyone on the back. Thanking everyone does explain or get the job done. It is time to give specific information, AKA: FACTS. JUST SAYING...

not to mention that the fbi initially said that this was not NOT an act of terrorism.. not that it may or may not not be an act of terrorism! . then in the new conference not correcting the previous comment.. this new conference was a dumpster fire!!
