I found Baldacci books by accident, because of an icy snow blowing mishap a couple decades ago. The nerve damage in my face was relatively small, but in a very bad place, it prohibited reading or wearing glasses, even with the medication used in cases of Trigeminal damage, so, the library had books on tape. Not only did they not have much plot information on the case, i could not read it, ori would suffer the painful consequences. Needless to say, i gobbled up every one of his available books, along with all the other books on tape i could find, for about 7 years while my body did its healing thing. (I recently found your Memory Man series, which i found fascinating. I suffered no such side effects, thankfully, but the idea and how he coped made him a very compelling character. But then, his characters are. All this is to say thank you for your stories and the quality of your work. I am still an avid reader, from a mother who also was, and so are my kids, and their kids too.
And by the way, after listening to this, will be adding another author to my list to read, Mr Winslow. Thanks Ms Peters.
