Commodity Divergences → Avalanche Coming?

In this clip from The Macro Show on 6/8/22, Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough warns investors of increasing divergences occurring in commodities.

“If you’re long any commodity other than oil, you’re getting smoked right now,” explains McCullough. “Being long commodities as an asset class is wrong at the component level.”

McCullough continues, “Commodities, underneath the surface, just like an avalanche… is becoming, again, disruptive. The similar sets are starting to collide, the tectonic plates, and then the surface caves in.”
