GA-PCOM Celebrates National Women Physicians Day 2018

February 3rd marks the annual National Women Physicians Day (NWPD), which recognizes the birthday of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell. Dr. Blackwell was the first woman to receive a medical degree in America, opening the door for women to enter the field of medicine. GA-PCOM recognizes and celebrates our empowering faculty, students and graduates who have paved the way and continue to shape the future for women in medicine
