I not said that the Shimano reel seat is not good. I just wanted to say that the Shimano do not comming with something special for ling time regarding of the carp roods. They want to make as to think that the new model is more impresionat, but it is not because they does not implement nothing special. For ex. from TX2 till to TX9 what's the difference they made. Just the price and a bit the carbon composition. Now with the reel seat is same. Is same reel seat, and will just chance his compozition a bit to look like a bit different than previous version. Fuji DPS and his reel seat system, you can find in lot of many unbrand rods. But if the ALPS is so bad reel seat, why this system it use many big companies? For ex. Century, they use just ALPS and is enough expensive his roods and even if the reel seat is ALPS and is bad and even if is so expensive this rods with bad reel seat, they is very successful in fishing. I like Shimano, is my preference brand in fishing, from two years ago, in the carp rods they do some rods which I can find everywhere more chip but same quality.

I want to say, to use and Shimano the top-high components and in carp rods, even if it will be a bit expensive, because they will sell this rods. Many people who know something about the High Quality components, they will buy the good rods, like Tribal Ultra. But that rod is just one model in carp roods by Shimano, who have really the High components. Tribal Xtreme was the secondary rods, better than this new rods and was the successful rods. Because after one year I cannot find again to buy a Shimano Tribal Xtreme new. I not find new. This thing means that all the rods was selling. I dont know why they was quite the production of this model.

When Shimano will do some some rods to be a bit different of all this TX series. They just chance the series name and a bit the carbon composition. Why they do not put some good components like: ALPS reel seat like Tribal Xtreme and previous version of Tribal Ultra, etc. Tribal series was more successful rods by Shimano. Maybe Shimano will do again some rods with ALPS reel seat
