Hi David, I'm also in the UK.
I borrowed an original Opsix back at Christmas 2022 - I liked it but not enough to buy one.
I really wanted the 2.0 because it had more presets, but didn't get round to it.
Then the Mk2 came out and like you I hesitated at £700.
However, back in early July I saw a new Opsix SE at just over 1k and I went for it.
Tbh the 61 keys with real after-touch really help to bring it alive.
