If you’re a pilot or an aviation enthusiast, camping at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is a must do. People flock from around the globe for the airplanes, but it’s the camaraderie in the campgrounds that makes AirVenture an experience unique throughout the world.

20 straights years attending Oshkosh as of last year. Camped for the first time last year and had a great time. Where else can you be sitting at your campsite in the evening and have the Blue Angels fly over multiple times at 200 feet practicing for their demo shows.

Ha!!! Awesome!!! That's my P40 warhawk inspired motorhome at 30 seconds in!!! We have a HUGE campsite every year. Front row on Knapp street just south of camp scholler between the gate and ultralites. Had 63 people stay with us last year. Stop by and say hi!! Look for the p350 econohawk camper and palm trees!! You won't miss us!!

I've been twice, in 2008 and 2014, and camped on the North 40 both times just off the threshold of runway 9. Nobody who's ever flown GA should miss the opportunity of flying Fisk Approach and camping with their plane where they can sit and watch such a fine assemblage of aircraft come and go.
