2013 Charger AWD RT vs. Mustang GT

Crap Heat Soaked run. First one of the night, Ran a 14.54 @ 96.7 MPH. DA was horrible (2400) and humidity was worse (95%). I ran a 14.2 @ 98 my next run. Regardless it was a fun night. The Mustang ran a 13.5 @ 104. He definitly was not stock.

This was my Daily Driver that I just casually take to the track. Of course I am going to lose most races. Not to mention its AWD and weighs 4600 lbs. but not worrying about winter driving in my car is worth it. I have a 2014 AWD Charger RT Sport now with an intake and catback. I can run high 13s. Can't beat that when I can drive my car any day of the year and plow though 12-16 inches of freshly fallen snow without a worry. Don't have the cash to have 2 cars. Can't think of a better compromise.

My 2006 mustang gt surprisingly has beat quite a few new r/t chargers and challengers. Even before the 4.10 gears. They are just heavy cars, but I would mind daily driving a charger r/t. A 4 door v8. What's not to like?

Not sure what the stang had but he ran a 13.5. I ran. 14.5 that run. I ran 14.2s the rest of the night. It was high 70's and 96% humidity. DA was horrible. Can't wait to run her this year.

Maybe you should get an after market hiid with a ram scoop on it to help assist with engine bay cooling

Well I said it before and I'll say it again just got my R/T Charger the black top Edition no Basic RT with chrome in the front was just waiting for this mustang to roll up on me today and don't care V6 or not so I slowed down so they can catch up and then rammed it twice so slowed down again so they can catch up and wasn't even on Sport mode never even hit that thing yet and then rammed it again they just weren't going to try they knew what's up and just gave me two thumbs up lol like come on man you know you're mustang ain't shit lol had to after reading about this and that on YouTube gotta love it Dodge Baby they were like I'm not even going to try and get beat

You lost about a half second at the light. With better reaction time you could get into the 13s everytime

the time of those mustangs stock are 13.5 under the right conditions, ur charger is slow and heavy get an srt8
