I’m debating weather or not to get an older car at 16 that I would eventually need to replace or buy a newer and more reliable car that I would need to replace for a long time (god forbid I get in an accident) any tips?

I’ve got the same car, just in a different color. Also got it at 16. Currently a year and a half into college. Trying to get at least another year out of it, but I don’t know if she’ll hold.
