Great way to go about educating someone. Not preachy not defensive. Just a clear concise explanation with examples. Nicely done!

Something that I find to be the most funniest is when someone tries to tell you that you're wrong about something when you literally have been using axe's your entire life like you 100% would know what you're talking about lmao

I just love how I learn about those differences, knowing fully well that I'm not gonna get an axe.

Have you tried splitting bois d’arc or Osage orange? A lot of old fence posts were made from their limbs here in Texas for cow pastures

You should show us your axe collection. I 100% bet you have tons of them.

Would an old norse axe with a smaller knob be considered a maul? Most don't have them but some did have "hammer heads" on the rear of them, usually very short but usable should the opportunity arise to use one

I've tried looking it up but couldn't find it, what's the splitting axe you usually use in your videos, the one with the multi piece head that has screws in the handle?

I don’t know how you deal with all these “Experts” my man… it would drive me nuts. 😂

Thoren is indeed right I've grown up chopping wood and we use the maul or "block buster" to chop the big wood blocks and stumps and we use the axe to split the smaller logs that were the parts of the split trunk piece and the small hand hatchet for kindling and shapping. It's like using a butchers clever for big bits, a kitchen knife for medium bits and a pearing knife for smaller bits. Same principle but yep thoren is right and @imalwayswrite is indeed wrong lmao
