It was a lot of things. His label had dropped him & his ex was on the cusp of publishing a book about their relationship. In the days before his death... she complained that he'd been frantically calling her and her mother (not wanting her to publish that book).

Even friends of his called her & said he was in a really bad place mentally & emotionally... hold off on the book.

He was getting a bunch of hard hits all at once. And everywhere he turned for help... those supposed to be close to him & care about him just accused him of "attention seeking" while the guy's literally saying "I'm gonna die."

Then the news hit him, causing him to spiral, which led to not realizing he was on the third floor, jumping to his death.

Let me tell you something about Universal Music Studios! I am a singer but I am not popular or anything like that. This is my hobby, BUT, a year ago I said to myself, let's just give it a try and see if I get accepted. I found the UMS email and sent a demo and a cover to them, no respond back... only that I had to send it somewhere else so they can see it from there. A few days later I was already going through a bad time mentally, but still wanted to try. I called directly to the UMS and I nicely presented myself and as soon as I finished saying my name and the reason for calling, THEY HANG UP ON ME!!! That made me feel like the last person on earth. Can you imagine the feeling Liam had after he's been singing for so many years under this shitty Music Label, only to get dropped like that to the point where he had to intoxicate himself to forget it all??? I got headaches and thought that no one wants me or that I am worthless, BUT LIAM!!! I think 100% that he was more than heartbroken. He's been betrayed and felt like he's lost it all. I wish that he could see through all that pain that people still cared for him and that his fans never left! Shame on the industry, shame on everyone who betrayed him and shame on everyone who turned their backs on him! This man needed help not to seek attention, but to find another way to cope with it all! What a brutal shame he is now gone, such a beautiful voice, such a talent and love for music. The cruelty he suffered in his last few weeks is horrible. His last unreleased song “What Have You Done” is absolutely incredible and his voice sounds great. Instead of dropping him, his label SHOULD have released that song. Liam, You made many people smile, 🥹I hope you can now rest in peace.
