This is a prime example of why the rule is stupid and gets players hurt more often.

Maybe stop forcing defenders to make lighter hits and less high hits that way they don’t have to hit low on bigger guys

That type of throw is what shortened Megatron's career. Stafford set him up for a big hit with that throw.

Stafford threw a hospital pass, and he needs to own up to it. Kirby hit was legal thats how they teach you to hit big dudes. He threw another hospital pass to Puka at the end of the 4th. Puka got hit by 2 diffenders. Stafford is known to throw passes that have a high potential to get his receivers hurt. All in all, he is responsible for those kinds of throws.

Brady said it best. Hold the QB responsible for hospital passes

These qbs need to take responsibility for taking these receivers off their feet and throw better balls..!

Kerby tried to talk to Stafford after the game. Curious what was said.

Gronk got his so many times in the knees. What else do you want guys to do when you limit so much of where they can hit and how they can hit someone and have to make that decision in a split second and you have a much smaller guy trying to tackle a large guy that has all the leverage and center of mass. The easiest to tackle someone like that and go for a high percentage tackle and be successful is to take their legs out. Any other spot you’ll either miss, get shrugged off or end up being the one incapacitated.

I wonder if Stafford was this quick to call out Ndamukong Suh when he was stomping on fools heads back in the day?
That was actually dirty.

This is the product of too many rules restricting how a defender should tackle. Too many times have they made a clean tackle and it got flagged and they get fined because it looked violent. So they start going low.
Also DB’s have notoriously gone low against TE’s.

I don’t think some folks realize the small amount of time a defender has to size up his target and make the hit and the speed both players are going. So when he’s already low making a diving shoulder pad tackle on the legs he’s usually aiming for the lower part of the thigh and when he went to make the tackle he can’t account for the defender having to stay up to catch a ball that was high, which this one was, so then it throws of the timing of the tackle and only the defender is held accountable and it’s just not right.

My team is sitting at home watching the playoffs. This is just coming from a longtime fan of the game getting tired of folks not understanding the game they claim to love and just want to argue instead of appreciate the game. I’m 29 by the way. Kids younger than me don’t know the history but claim their students if the game but can’t even tell me what cover 1 means

The fact the Joseph is 200 pounds and higgbee is 260 what do you expect he can’t hit high because he’s already been hurt but going high but if he goes low it’s a good tackle but now he’s dirty. People were going for laportas bad knee the whole game so if we’re dirty they’re dirty too

LA made him soft… Kirby did exactly what he’s coached to do and what is called for by the league.

Staff was starting to feel that pressure in ford field💀

They should make a formed wrapped tackle mandatory. Just like in rugby. That's why they don't have season ending injuries as often. They actually know how to tackle

Stafford created Kerbys villian arc. Been the best safety since

I like how multiple players have come to Joseph’s defense that’s how they’re taught to tackle without getting a penalty

And here we are again with Kirby trying that in Packer’s TE Tucker Kraft.

Stafford is just as responsible for leaving his receiver out to dry. Can’t hit low, can’t hit high. Eventually NFL will turn into flag football

Was all cordial and wasn’t talking shit until that ref arrived 😂
