Allotment Harvest With Me! Late August Harvest!

Hello, my name Nik and welcome to That British Homestead, thanks so much for watching. Today I am sharing with you the harvest on the allotment today. I am harvesting cucumbers, tomatoes and corn today. I had a little disappointment with my corn due to pest damage but I did get a good harvest over all.

I couldn’t wait to harvest some toms as I simply love toms cooked till soft in olive oil with lots of basil and a pinch of sugar and pinch of salt then I pour it over toast for brecky it’s soooo delish in the summer. I couldn’t wait cos the flavour of home grown toms is like no other.

We are just getting some lovely cherry toms and corn 🌽 now 😋. What do you do with the little cobs of corn 🌽. Lots being harvested you should check Digwell Greenfingers he does loads of recipes and in winter he does even more 😂😂. Have a fantastic week Nik 🐝 safe
