just ordered a factory fit IC from Russ. You have done an awesome job supporting DHM even though you are on the west coast. Im spoiled since I'm only an hour away from the shop... Almost sold my ST for a mustang GT but the ST is such a great all around car... good luck with your sale. I hope either way you keep making videos and possibly getting awesome parts from Russ if he starts making parts for the golf lol. Been subbed for a bit!

That intercooler is huge hopefully you don’t get any overheating problems with it blocking the way of the radiator, restricts a lot of air.

Nice work, I have the same FMIC with a Red crash bar. That thing is so fucking efficient. Even on the hottest days I'm like 8 degrees above ambient in traffic. I've driven down the e-way and have had temps 1.5-2 degrees above ambient in the cold.

Hey, how wide was this intercooler that you installed ? Also did you have much room to fit an even wider one after installing? Ive currently got a 100mm wide intercooler that I want to install to my FiST but don't know if it'll fit because of how wide it is! Thanks!

Where did you get the aftermarket bash bar? And would this fit the 1.0T ecoboost red edition?

I read a post from Mountune in the UK where you need to be careful about upsetting the cooling pack on the ST with a large intercooler. In their tests they found vertically increasing the size restricted the airflow to the radiator, which then causes the PCM to pull timing as a safety measure. Might be worth data logging?
