Inside Edition met with Jackie Samuel in 2012. At the time, she charged $60 an hour to cuddle with strangers. There is need in people these days that runs much deeper than a need to cuddle. People need to connect, share, and trust others. They need to love and be loved. Touch needs to be rooted in trust and history. It's a sharing of mind and soul, not just body! It may take time, but we'll eventually hear about the woman who was murdered. Ready to call someone for cuddling? It's a wake up call for yourself. When the cuddle leaves, you'll probably fell doubly lonely. Go out, join groups, and definitely volunteer. Try to trust again. Pray. Try to connect with God.

I understand this could be potentially dangerous for the cuddlers however, many dont understand that some people do not have ANYONE at all. The longing for human touch and comfort is natural, and I think this service is great to those who need a little comfort in their lonely life.
Just because someone is “lonely” doesn’t mean they’re bad people.
