I got this phone for a work phone. The feel is like my iphone 12 pro max, I like this phone. I'm happy with it, it does what it needs to do. Call, text, watch videos.

It's a sub-$200 phone with warranty and 5G certified by the carrier. It runs stock Android and you also get charger cable combo (oddly, that's a feature now). Honestly this is totally fine for someone on a budget.

This is one of the best looking branded device since the sidekick. I have a Vodafone Smart Ultra 7 from 2017? and boy it outlasted some of my branded phones. Also made by TCL. These phones are more strictly tested compared to a Samsung or other manufacturer. They know the game is hard in the budget segment and always add some nice touches like a nylon coated cable or fast charging or something. I like it! Software is meh from a vendor... updates always hit and miss...

Can't complain about the price and it appears to have as much as you would need daily. And less than $200, it wouldn't be catastrophic if you broke or lost it. A pretty damned good option in the real world.

I figured I'd point this out before anyone buys this

It has come to my attention the device does not have the Widevine DRM L1 certification. If you plan on watching Netflix/Hulu with this you'll be capped at standard definition ( Netflix says 540p ).

As to why, it seems OEMs who bake straight AOSP onto these devices don't bother with WV DRM certification

work horsed an S8+ hard for over 4 years!! and when the screen touch sensors went (no more software updates) last month. I was able to catch one of these on a free upgrade. I only need the basics 2FA etc...texting, phone, news..yada yada..we will see how long this lasts but one week in no complaints. Its not a high end or even mid range Sammy but hey I'm over the whole 'gotta get the most advanced phone ever' thing anyhoo..

I just had one gave to me for free after I broke my s20 fe also a side note I'm on at&t but unlocked the phone in seconds with the inbuilt unlock feature and the 5g doesn't seem as fast as on the 20 but for a free phone I'm happy with it kinda feels weird repping T-Mobile while I'm actually using at&t but I've used T-Mobile before and they do have great service here
