The Universal Language - Presentation at The Journey On Podcast Summit

It’s hard to find the right words to sum up our experience at the Journey On Podcast Summit in San Antonio, TX. The thing that struck me most is the way all the presenters collaborated and encouraged each other. Sometimes people feel justified in creating division based on differing opinions; however, there was a higher energy at the summit that centred around finding ourselves in the process and it created a space that was a joy to teach and learn in.
The colleagues I had the pleasure of meeting at the summit have now become great friends. Cindy and I are immensely grateful to have been a part of this special event where every detail was so carefully planned and executed. I hope that we continue to see events in the horse world that are able to bring great minds together, celebrate ingenuity, and tear down the walls that divide us. Thank you to everyone who was involved and especially to Warwick Schiller and Robyn Schiller for following your hearts and prioritizing this need in our industry! So excited for all that is to come.

I think the problem with a lot of trainers is not that they are not competent but they have stopped thinking about methods they have learned and cannot get real connection with horses and it keeps both in a perfunctory mode model. I personally think horses are, within a herd, leaders and follows and the human idea of dominance is not what a horse experiences in a herd.
