What is the covid death rate for children ages 5-11? What is the rate of serious adverse effects for this age group? This information should be clearly provided. We should also know what co-morbidities are associated with death/severe effects in young children. As a parent of young children, I am increasingly alarmed how little information is being provided.

Clinical trials for the 5-11 age group only included 2, 300 children (whereas adult trials included ~70, 000). There is not enough data from the clinical trials for young children and I’m assuming that side effects of the larger population will only be monitored via VAERS and V-safe (which we keep being told is unreliable). School districts are already discussing covid vaccine mandates for young children. This is insane.

Good news for covax for developing nations - they really need Novavax to be approved. I know they've been manufacturing Novavax in several countries for a few months now including the UK. Approval will definitely speed up the worldwide rollout. Its also not as expensive as the mRNA vaccines, and easier to store.

I wonder what is "COVID - related deaths"? What are other conditions in those cases? Maybe we should focus on addressing pre-existing conditions like obesity in kids?

It would be good to have an alternative to mRNA and adenovirus vector (DNA) vaccines, but Novavax still only delivers S-proteins and not the whole virus.
We still need a vaccine based on the whole inactivated virus.

On these deaths we also have no data if they had already a immune deficiency/other injures etc.
