Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a massive roadshow in poll-bound Meghalaya ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. A sea of crowd spilled out on both sides of the road to greet the PM as he waved to the crowd. The crowd chanted 'Modi-Modi' in excitement as the PM's convoy passed through the streets of Shillong. With Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) flags in hand, supporters waited on the road for hours just to catch a glimpse of the PM. This is the first visit of PM Modi to Meghalaya in 2023. Folk artists performed traditional dance to welcome the PM to the state. The roadshow is being conducted from the Central Library to the Police Bazar.

Why PM of the country is campaigning for vote for a political party.? This is not the duty of the PM. PM post is a constitutional post and it shouldn't be a part of any political party's election campaign. PM must be impartial. PM should work for the nation not for any political party only.
