I’m imagining the monarch practically falling out of their chair to reach over across the table to feed the guard.

I’m also imagining others, guards or servants, cautiously and nervously watching this, trying to fight the urge to rebalance the monarch. But they stop themselves as they don’t want to be scolded for interfering.

And lastly the guard slightly embarrassed but not enough to refuse the monarch.

This reminds me of a scene in Rogue Trader where you can have your bath security guards bathe with you and talk to them, entertain, etc., but it wasn't romantic. I really love this sort of dynamic.

This is Zelda and Link, five years after TotK, with Zelda awkwardly attempting to seduce Link by feeding him food she's made herself under the pretense that the Yiga clan may have messed with it.

i love that this is written purposely gender neutral. interpretation is in the eye of the beholder. personally i get strong yuri vibes.
