Made the same decision about a year ago ! I’m doing ok and I know you’ll be good too. Obviously I haven’t “made it” yet but I’m on my way. You obviously have a vision, just try your best to execute! I’m here if you need to bounce thoughts off someone in a similar situation/mindset. You’re smart enough to give it a shot and come back if it doesn’t work. However, remember not to settle for less than you’re worth and work toward what you do want.

I was in a similar boat to you in regards to uni but don’t worry mate things will work out. It now gives you an opportunity to explore different avenues I also was doing a sports degree and it made me realise that I didn’t want to work in the sport sector at all.

mate, I’m going through the same issue atm with uni, I’m in my 2nd year and got my last exam next week and I’ve been tempted to sack it off multiple times, I was so close in January to doing so but I’ve decided to stick around and finish it off and if I don’t wanna go down that path when it’s done then so be it, but I decided for me it would be better to stick around and finish it and see how things go and I’ve struggled massively with my mental health this year from it it’s so draining so I’m with you on that so fair play to making your call it’s a brave one but I’m sure it’ll all work out spot on for you in the end mate, good luck and I can’t wait to see the videos you bring to the channel. Hope you’re feeling better and a lot more chilled now you’ve quit, sometimes your mental health in the now is better than your future in a career that you’re not as passionate about as you once were 👍

How much more time would you have left to be done with Uni? I hope it's not a quit you will regret, even if I understand you and where you are coming from.
Regarding the YT career, looking forward to see how it takes off. Are you going to stick with your very specific football content or will you try to go the road that appeals to bigger masses (and allowing you to maybe do this as a job for a while). If you go for the full time options maybe check out ObviouslyASM or dennisasmr, those 2 grew their channel within a few weeks/months to way over 100.000 subs and I think they did that very smart with their content. I think you have the potential to easily get their if you really put in the work and effort. But of course also depends what you want this channel to be.
