Gunsmith Part 2: AKS-74U! Patch 0.13 Guide | Escape From Tarkov

Today we’re completing Mechanic's quest Gunsmith Part 2 in Escape from Tarkov! The sticking point for this build is the 60 round mag for the AKS-74U, so let’s get started.

So what we need is an AKS-74U (and you do get given one with accepting the quest), with a B-11 handguard, 60 round mag, 6 slots total. Stats wise, we need an ergo of over (or equal to) 58, a recoil sum less than 550 (remember this is the vertical and horizontal added together), a sighting range of 100 or more and 3.5 kg or less.

Much of this can be put together with level 1 traders, but to get the magazine we will need to do something more which we will explore in the video.

If you cant buy the KAC foregrip because its sold out constantly you can use an RVG foregrip instead

I found my mags when i did a labs raid and killed some raiders. I have found some in zb-14 but its hard to reset and go again. if youre still needing found in raid ones, id just go for lavatory or try lighthouse for the easy extracts next to weapon cases

muzzle device can be removed to add ergo, no need to buy any rp-1 or anything

Killed a PMC on a scav run on woods the other day and he had 60 round mag, not sure if I should save it for Prapor or use it for this.
