Good video, I just cut down an old L shape Allen Key and stuck it in there with just a bit of the “lever” sticking out so that I could turn it to adjust as needed.

Lmao I was watching this video and I was like wait, the voice and mannerisms seem familiar... You're the guy that made the tutorial video for the BeamNG AI Pacenotes mod! Once again I am finding your videos super handy! Cheers

Not a bad idea, I am getting the shifter this week. A buddy O'mine in Vegas has the shifter but does not use it because of the whole issue with in-accurate shifts so we're trading the shifter for my GT wheel I'll never use. Fair trade really as maybe I can fix H pattern and sequential still works.
I think a socket Allen key that is the correct size kept at the rig would be simple salution. Great fun video dude 😎👍

Love the videos my man but for those who still have a warranty could always make one trip to the hardware store and just get an extra single Allen key that you can keep on your rig, probably same cost as bolt

Amazing dude! I'll definitely try this out. I don't understand what you did with the nut from the beginning of the video that you mentioned goes against some foam. You just kind of put it all back together and inserted the bolt.

I haven't seen a hack job this bad in a long time. Hahaha.. BUT... it is a great idea to make the adjustment more accessible and useable.
Your right.. unscrew everything so you know what is needed before making multi trips to the hardware store.
Nice mod and definitely great that you showed it.
Thanks a bunch.
Edit.. I couldn't think of the name of it but I would have used a knob bolt. They are cheap, come in almost any length, thread and look like factory installed.
Again, thanks for sharing the info.

Just drill a hole in it like a madman, trust me. Now that we are finished with that, oh, if you want to keep your warranty you probably dont want to do any of this.

or just use a allen like its intended to be used

Or just stick a cut hex key into and glue some turn stick to it

How can this work? The “grub” screw you remove is not a grub screw. It is a spring loaded ball screw. Check it up. Your mod will probably wear out the shifter.

I am happy with how it all is without mods but would like to know is there a way to lock down the shifter? I hate the push down for reverse and 7th gear only
