Titleist invited me to get fit for new SM9 Vokeys. Titleist SM9 Wedges are the most used wedge on the PGA Tour so i had to give these a try! This golf fitting process was WAY more than I anticipated. What wedges will I get fit for?

That Max knows his stuff, it was really informative, the way he absorbed the information, and doled out the advice, recommendations, his delivery, lack of awkwardness was impressive. He's a pro, it's no wonder Titelist put him front and center for this video. That was really fun to watch.

I've always felt overwhelmed with Vokeys due to the seeming unlimited options but this video really helped me understand what is going on. Gonna pick up a set of Vokeys this year as I'm due for new wedges! Thanks.

First shot of the video was a skulled wedge equaling low ego and great video for us average folks to learn from. Nice one, Brandon.

I have the SM6'S in 50, 54 and 58. I recently had to replace the 58 so I went with the SM9. It's $ and beautiful. I'll get around to replacing the other 2 in the next year. Best wedges around...

Short game is a problem for me too. I watched that Rick Shiels/Dan Grieve short game video on YouTube. Dan has 3 releases for different short game shots. Bought his book, and started practicing with it. I'm a beginner, but I have hit a couple of good shots using his techniques. Very promising.

I picked up the SM9s in 50, 54, and 58 degrees this year. It has been so fun watching the ball hit the green and bite/spin. These wedges are legit!

Ordered my vokeys last week. Watching this today and we got the same exact lofts grinds and bounces

I thought the F grind is the most common because tour players get the F grind custom grinded on the tour truck. I recall hearing this info on a titleist tour truck video.

Awesome video I struggle in the exact same way you do tight lies around the green. This was the best explanation of bounce and grind variations Ive seen thank you.

Good video. Went away from Vokeys the past 2 years but will be going back to them soon.

cool fitting....but a note. The clubs now fit this range but according to the video you play a slightly firmer course. Wouldn't less bounce be helpful? greeting from germany

This was a great video. I've been playing some non-Vokey wedges for the last year that are a bounce that a pro recommended...but I did not get fit for them. I have been struggling so much with them that I want to go back to Vokey wedges, BUT get fit the right way like you did here. Thanks!

I came to this conclusion thri buying and trading. 😂. 50 f grind 12 bounce. And 54 and 58 d grind and 12 bounce. The turf interaction for me in New England has been great. I am sure I save a stroke a side with the right wedges.

I have an S gring 56° w/a steel shaft & a T grind 60° w/a graphite shaft. I love them, but imo the only thing that fixed my short game was hours of practice. It's nice that they're fit specifically for me, but u could put a 1960's Wilson dual wedge in my hand and I'm just as confident and accurate with it. I love watching ppl get fit tho, it makes me excited for them, great video!!

I just picked up two SM 10's, a 48* F Grind and a 54* F Grind.. Basically i re-vamped my irons and wedges all within the last two weeks.. went from Cobra OL ltdx irons, to Cobra Tour irons.. and had picked up a 60* snakebite wedge too.. well i thinned out the One length wedges i had 48-52-56, and a couple other clubs i wasn't using anymore and traded them, when i was buying the two Vokeys... and i don't feel like i had a lot of wear n tear on the wedges, but a few years ago, i was still playing some old SM4's and i always felt like i got plenty of stopping power with them on full shots and chip shots. But i noticed instantly with the new Vokey's on chip shots, my ball checked up like it would with my old Vokey's. And the thing that i always kicked myself about, was back in 2022, i got back into golf after 2 years away from golf, and i had traded my old Titleist irons ( 735cm ) and Vokey wedges, because i was looking for something new and a bit more forgiving... But i literally am right back to where i was LOL, Never again will i run afoul of Vokey and their wedges

YOU REALLY WOULDNT BELIEVE how similar your issues are in this video to mine, have just done the same fitting with mine and can say it has given me a LOT more confidence, not perfect yet like it used to be but getting there...fingers crossed

I'm a shallow hitter, and have a Cleveland RTX SW 56, with 6 degree bounce. Seems to work for me. But, they say that SM9 14 degree bounce K grind is really good for bunker shots. Might try it.

I wouldn't go with the Chrome finish. They may look amazing but the clubface glares in your face and burns your retinas on a sunny round of golf.

So for a handicap of 12. The best forgiving sand wedge and lob wedge for getting out of soft sand . Which grind etc. Thanks
