From a coatings professional, it looks like you did a great job! Epoxy was 100% correct, it will adhere to the metal really well. When it’s time to put a different finish on (you mentioned that you wanted to do that in the future), I would be happy to coach you through it.
You also mentioned cutting out for the sliding door, make sure you cover the epoxy and the hot metal can melt into it. Keep up the great work.

Good morning ladys what a job I'm so glad the weather is warmer for you this morning. I love the color on the floor. You may already know this, but when you get ready to put up your sheet rock I use to make a T out of 2x4s that would hold up one end of the sheet rock for me. I would put one end on a tall ladder and then left up the other end by puting the T under it. you can make it so that it is tight if the T is a little bite at a slant that is fine take a hammer and push it tant it will save your arms. I can remember using a piece of a 2x6 or a 1x4 if the the T was a little short but it works really well. They may even have something you can buy now days I was 19 back then It was in 1974. Rock on having coffee with you here

I did my garage floor with the same product, same colors, only it's over concrete and in Florida..lol It's held up really well for what it's worth, and looks great! Ya'll did a great job with it, hoping that it works for you. Awesome work ladies, let it ventilate well...Love ya'll ❤

My wife put the same paint in our basement on concrete floor. Been 3 years and is doing great. Yours looks great also. The sparkle's help set it off. Good job gals. Pray it dries quickly for you. Thanks for sharing Iowa is watching at 17 degrees out and windy. :)
