The show’s director, costume designer and mask co-designer Julie Taymor continues to play an integral part in the show’s ongoing success, and holds the honor of the first woman to win a Tony Award for Direction of a Musical.

After an all-encompassing performance requiring physical and mental acrobatics, are YOU ARTISTS Energized, EXHAUSTED or
a combination of both?? For me, after A gig of 2 to 4 hours on a drum set, It takes me a while to wind down once I get home.

I'm no expert, but I wonder if the brain processes involved to move the puppetts are essentially the same as say, driving a car, or operating machinery like a backhoe. Different goals, but same process.
