ADAM Audio's A77X is equipped with the same advanced technologies as the A7X and is very similar to the two-way speaker. The A77X, however, distinguishes itself by much higher, compression-free maximum sound pressure levels and dynamics. Due to its power and radiation characteristics, it also is perfectly suited for both near- and mid-field monitoring.

Like all models of the AX series, the A77X features the ADAM proprietary X-ART tweeter. The "X" stands for "eXtended frequency response" and thus for one of the features of the Accelerating Ribbon Technology that has been drastically improved: the frequency response. It now extends all the way up to 50 kHz. In addition, the X-ART tweeter has higher efficiency and higher maximum sound pressure levels.

"so from 400 Hz and below" as you say both speakers are active. Well this the lower 40% of the lower audio range and not only bass which quickly makes me ask about the practical usage. Regarding distance I found that they require at least 2, 5m distance to the mixing engineer if used in dedicated position. Not keeping this minimum distance caused the sweet spot to be vulnerable agains head movement because of the mixture of the speakers. Any experience with that?
