The Death of Sohrab - Iranian Music

Music by Farya Faraji, vocals by Kelareh Kabiri and Farya Faraji. Lyrics from the Shahnameh. The death of Sohrab is possibly the most iconic scene in all of Iranian mythology, and it was recounted by the Persian poet Ferdowsi in the Shahnameh, the Iranian national epic. Rostam, the great hero of the Shahnameh, has a child with Tahmineh. He leaves those lands and never encounters his child again. Then, one day, on a field of battle, he meets a young warrior, Sohrab who opposes him. Rostam defeats Sohrab, and the latter, with his dying breath, swears that his father, Rostam, will avenge him. Rostam notices a necklace around Sohrab's neck--the necklace that belonged to his wife Tahmineh. He thus learns that the young man he has just killed is indeed his own son.

Hi Farya! What a hauntingly beautiful song!
There are a few things that i am confused about though.
First of all, what kind of Persian do you use in the lyrics? I put the English translation of the text into Google translate, set to Persian, and it came back with something different from the song.
For example:
"My father shall take my revenge on you" gives
"پدرم انتقام من را از تو خواهد گرفت"
instead of the text that is included in the song.

Of course, it is Google translate that i am using, so it could well be messing things up itself. But given the fact that your older songs generally do not feature as much of information in the description as they do nowadays, i have no way of knowing the correct information. Can you please help me on this?

Secondly, it appears that some of the letters do not join together when they should. My father, who knows a bit of Arabic, pointed this out to me. Obviously, Persian is a different language, but it uses a very similar alphabet which, to my father's knowledge, should behave pretty much the same as it does in Arabic. We tried to check this by retyping some of the words letter by letter, and to see how it was joined together by Google.
Doing this for "Father", for example, gives "پدر".
In your song, the first and second letters of this word are not joined together when, according to Google, they should be. My dad thinks that he has spotted many other such cases where the words appear to be written incorrectly.

I would really like to hear from you on these two things, since they have left us rather confused.
