What a fantastic way to introduce a required mechanic. Also clever to gate it behind almost all the B-sides, since 7B teaches you the super wall jump. That being said, it’s great that the gate can be skipped if you already know the mechanic it’s trying to teach you, and you can perform it masterfully. Matt and his team are truly masters of blatant level design, perhaps even on par with the Super Metroid team.

INSANE missed opportunity to name the computer Strawberry Pi
It’s a triple pun, because:
1. There’s a computer called Raspberry Pi
2. You collect strawberries, and the game is focused on them
3. You make a strawberry pie in the epilogue (which is before the point where this tutorial takes place)
I can’t believe they missed this…
