3D audio – a lively acoustic experience in Ludwigsburg.
d&b audiotechnik was invited to install a sound system in a pavilion designed by students of the Ludwigsburg Art Academy. In distilling the acoustic essence of a city, composer Martyn Ware – known as the founding member of The Human League and Heaven 17 – has reduced Ludwigsburg to familiar sounds: the trickle of a fountain or the buzz of a brewery, all set within the context of a spatial soundscape – an amazing 3D sound installation.
