New pet mini lop bunbun! (Best mistake)

Bought a minilop bunny from gumtree, originally wanted a girl cos apparently they smell less... 2 weeks later realised we took home a little boy lolol but he is just the most affectionate and cuddly little guy ever! Best mistake ever made!! :))

His name is Honeybun (for now lol.. Cos always thought 'he' was a 'she'.. Suggestions???)
He is a Mini lop bunny
He is currently 10 weeks old

Carrots only as treats and very little. 80% of their diet is hay. What a lovely bunny.

Bunny diet:
80% hay (Timothy hay for adults, alfalfa hay for babies. They should always have free acces to hay, which should be placed where the bunny uses the bathroom, the litter box)
15% Leafy greens (different kinds of lettuce)
3% pellets (You don't have to feed them pellets, but if you do, in small amounts and a healty brand)
2% treats (other vegestebals such as carrots. Try to avoid those yogurt drops and products like that, as they are filled with suger)

I did the same "mistake" :) The best "mistake" of my life. The little bastard completely hijacked my heart and I had no idea I could love this little animal so deeply i would sacrifice absolutely everything without hesitation for it's well being. Bunnies are just AMAZING ! Love them and they will repay you with the same love unconditionally.

Rabbits should not have fruits or vegetables until 6 months of age. I recommend the house rabbit society for better information on rabbits. They are usually mistreated because people think they are easy pets sadly :(

If you got this cutie unplanned, do spend the time to educate yourself on bunny diet, behavior, sleeping patterns, etc. And never ever let cats and dogs play with him unsupervised! I also got handed a bunny as a rescue and had a LOT to learn just to treat him properly. 🙏🏽✨😍

The house rabbit society is a great source of rabbit info! Rabbits need alot of care, and make loving pets when treated right. So cute, but not too much carrot. It's a treat ♥️🥰🐰

It’s so cute but still looks young I don’t recommend giving it carrots until 16 weeks old
