Today, I'm giving you a look inside the two resources that our 10th grader's chemistry course is based off of: Exploring Creation with Chemistry, 2nd Edition (the current one published by Apologia is the 3rd edition) and Life of Fred Chemistry.

I actually found a copy of Jay Wile’s 2nd Ed Apologia Exploring Creation with General Science when we moved in to our new house. It got left behind by the previous owners. I know it’s a treasure, but it’s just the text book. I’m assuming it’s of no use if I don’t have the other components, likes tests, but I don’t know what what pieces would make it complete.

I love the conversations I have with my older daughter when we do study sessions and I think I’ll love it when we get to high school sciences!!! Im not able to have those conversations with my son as he’s wanting to do it and finish but we have those conversations in languages with him. We don’t read footnotes in our curriculum, maybe we should. We don’t do science kits as we’ve found that we’ve not needed to yet.
