Some companies pay better than others when it comes to maternity. So my company paid me 3 months full 10 weeks half pay and then the rest was statutory pay. Up until 9 months. Then 9-12 months was unpaid. But that has since changed to 20 weeks half pay I believe. However what I didn't know when I was on my maternity that I could have applied for universal credit. So note to anyone who is pregnant due to have baby. (Obviously that does depend on partners income) X
