Regarding the Compresssion/De-esss knob - I think you might have it wrong. It is my understanding (from the manual) that the two effects are coupled. Turning it all the way clockwise sets Compression AND de-ess to maximum. Turning it all the way counter-clockwise sets both effects to minimum. You said that it was either / or depending on which way you turn the knob.

I have listened to this video with a number of headphones and each time your vocal hits the t1 there is a underlying click, is this something to do with the YouTube compression our is it a issue the tc T1 suffers with

I wonder if this guy realizes that when the light goes RED, it means his gain is too high... you don't just turn the gain all the way up... you turn it up so that you always stay in the green and maybe slightly yellow on the loud parts.

I watched this video hoping to hear the difference between an auto tuned voice singing and one that was not. How else could I make a buying decision on a correction pedal? Unfortunately this review fails to demonstrate it at all. What a waste of my time.

I just got a T1 and strangely noticed that my shure sm 58 actually sounds a bit better than the supercardiod beta 87A. Do you have any opinion on this? Did you compare a dynamic mic with a condenser using this pedal?

Compared to what a straight up compressor cost, this thing is PURE gold. I guess that's why they went with the colour scheme

What is that annoying click in the back ground every time you sing or talk loud? Is that the pedal making that noise?

i appreciate the work you do by shooting this vid but obviously you know nothing about effects and stuff. shape is a dynamic shape control which is basically a multiband compressor that tries to even out the frequency range you're singing at, compressor/de-esser knob does not work the way you describe. the knob controls the amount of audio that will go through compressor AND de-esser. and the CH setting on C-1 is not "channel", it's "chromatic", which corrects your singing in a range of 12 notes, not a specific key.

get good level on your pedal but adjust the level on your interface.  You have plenty of headroom, so there is never going to be a scenario where you will have that pedal gain all the way up.  That is why you hear that annoying click and distortion throughout the entire video.

Great review. I went right out and bought the T1. It really does make your sound pop. Simple yet effective compression and eq. I have owned and struggled with the VoiceTone Create since it came out - these single pedals are a vast improvement!

The T1 helped me. It enhanced LD-SYSTEMS Maui 5's micro input, it made also sound Bose L1 compact's Micro input better

I assume the intrusive popping that is most noticeable at 5.48 is not the pedal but a noise gate on you recording device,

Oh buddy... good video but ch on the key assign does not mean "channel" it means "chromatic" or no key or open key assign. Sighhh and as for Cher the lyrics are not "Do you believe in love after love..." they are "Do you believe in life after love..." But all is all good video. Thank you.

No one ever shows the natural settings. Everyone shows the strong effects but what about those who want to use this realistically in a performance.Is that feasible? There no videos of it at all

Hi there. Great Im wondering if u can answer a question I have. Can I connect a Tc-helicon T1 with a Tc-helicon Create Xt? Is it good to connect those bouth pedals? I already have a Tc-helicon T1 and I'm looking for more effects.
