Here's something people overlook with electric cars. Now I'm not an engineer but my dad is. You realize we are using a lot of fuel in those mining trucks to get the materials required for the batteries. Second, the materials required are very rare and require a lot of purification so that also releases a lot of toxic gasses into the air. Third. when you charge your car you're not really doing a whole lot for the environment because most of your electricity comes from coal power plants. The more stress you put on a coal power generator, the more coal you need to keep it running. Also electric cars are a lot more expensive than gas cars, but gas cars last so much longer and they're cheaper too. In conclusion gas cars are better for the environment than electric cars. Yeah electric cars are cool, but gas cars are way cooler.

Ok now i live in india so we dont really have a tesla but as per his claims on 1 dollar that is about 73 rupees and price of gas in my state is 91 rupees (90.53) so i would say a car with gas will save my money and i think he is saying 1 dollar daily so if that is the case then yeah gas car are better and car which use CNG(compressed natural gas) are way cheaper 44 rupees so yeah filling a car daily with cng will still be cheaper then 1 dollar daily
