OK OK this is a moment of truth .
This is probably the only tricked i know the explanation of from his show.
You clearly see the difference of the dress before and after. Check the narrow colar before and the long colar after the trick is performed.
When you go through slow motion you then understand that the dress had a double layer and the jewel heart was hidden behind the top layer.
Once he throws the stones on the dress, he drops the top layer to reveal the heart and that's where you can see the larger colar (neck part).
He neatly used the black color because it hides the details espcially when you have the top layer sliding down
