Imagine This... Your Dream Home Just Got a Wake-Up Call.

You’ve just moved into a beautiful new house in a great neighbourhood. Life is good—you got the promotion, everyone’s proud, and everything’s going to plan.

Until you read the local group chat.
A house just like yours, a few doors down, just got burgled.

Suddenly, you’re asking all the right (and slightly paranoid) questions:
👉 Do I need better doors?
👉 Should I get bars on the windows?
👉 What if they come through the roof?!

Then you find a security company that says: “We’ll test your house like a real burglar would.”
They’ll try every trick in the book to break in—legally—and then tell you exactly how to fix the weaknesses they found.

Now replace your house with your computer systems. In cybersecurity, that’s what we call a penetration test.

A pen test is a simulated cyber attack performed by ethical hackers (aka, the good guys) to uncover vulnerabilities before the bad guys do.

🎥 In this video (and the series to follow), I’m breaking down:
🔍 What penetration testing is
⏳ How long it takes
🍦 What “flavours” it comes in
🧠 What systems can (and should) be tested

So grab a coffee ☕, maybe a notepad 📝, and let’s get into it.
This is the Evalian Guide to Penetration Testing.
