When my friend tells me to act normal in public when we’re both high

He’s telling the truth I’m 5’5 and every time a ball gets thrown at me I don’t know where it’s gonna land

Always a pleasure to listen to Brian Greene explain science in the most simple language

Adding a comment so this stuff gets recommended to me

There was an experiment where people were put in a spinning room, but it looks normal from the inside, so when you throw a ball, it wasn’t going in a straight line it, would kind of make an arc to the other person. So at first it was really difficult to tell where the ball was going to go. But after a few minutes, everyone had adapted and knew intuitively how to throw and catch the ball.

imagine holding your hand out in two random spots as a particle flies toward you cause you know it’ll land there but you don’t know which hand

If we were the size of Jupiter, we wouldn't need ladders.👌

One of my favorite physicist. He’s wonderful. You are just glued to when he speaks.

What if we’re already tiny but can’t realize it in our reality

We are not certain that we are or aren't living in a quantum world, secondly if 2 objects placed in a quantum world they will not experience uncertainty in thier movements but if we look at the 2 objects from our assumed normal world we will see the uncertainty in thier movements

Brian Greene looks like such a nice guy. I feel happy when I watch him.

I also find it so cool that when we throw a ball, we somehow know exactly how hard we have to throw it to perfectly reach someone else’s hands. Whether they’re 10 feet away or 100 feet away, we just know how to do it perfectly. And same with basketball players shooting. They know exactly how hard they need to shoot to perfectly get the ball in the net from any distance (as long as it’s not like a full court shot) Even if they miss, it’s usually still very close basically every time

really love the way he explains physics concepts

I don't agree. Even if we were 10 to the negative ten meters, we would still need to make an observation and that would collapse the wave equation. and we would experience a particle, not a probabilistic wave.

What's interesting though, is what are we quantum to? Meaning can we be tiny in relation to other things that are way bigger than us which we don't perceive, the same a being "existing in the quantum realm" wouldn't be able to perceive us

My Cat seems to know Newtonian Mechanics better than me.😂
