Sad to see as a finn that our team didn't have enough defence against canadians.
Canada attacked and defended very well.
And it was a clean game.
Im glad finns pushed back in the final minutes (cheered me up a little bit).
Still exited to see the final.

If the Finns tied it, it would have been insane. I had great seats for the game too. Tickets were stupidly cheap ($130 for 10 rows behind the glass).

That was a fabulous game for the 1st two periods for Canada, I was thinking maybe Binner could get a shutout if he kept up what he was doing. I get what the coach is doing, continuity but Binner can't let 3 goals in on Thursday if he's in net. That's mediocre goaltending and he really needs to raise his game to go head to head with Helle.

I'd personally give Hill a chance but that's me. Coach Cooper is a 2 time Stanley cup champion so my trust is in him... I loved the newly configured lines and I think it'll make a difference for Thursday, especially McDavid's line because Point and Stone are guys who sit in the blue paint and score those greasy goals. Instant chemistry between those three guys and it was obvious. Then Sid and Mac, that's a line that works. Sid drives the bus and what he did today to get that empty net goal shows how he leads by example. So proud of what he's done in this tournament. And he's got the highest points of any Canadian player in the tournament.

I believe Canada can get the win on Thursday, especially if some of the injuries to the US boys persist... my gut tells me that it'll be Helle vs the Canadians. He'll always be the rockstar to me for doing what he does for the Jets but I know on occasion he does have human qualities so perhaps our boys can get a few more goals on him on Thursday than they did on Monday. Go Canada Go!!

I have a feeling team USA is going to beat Canada pretty convincingly in the final. I’m obviously a bit biased as an American, but doing my best to put that aside: Canada had to take Sweden in OT and just nearly collapsed against a team that USA demolished.

This whole tournament has been a fantastic watch and a reminder of how much I missed international hockey.

Love your videos THG. It wouldn’t be a complete NHL season without your coverage.
