KENYA should definately be on that list.Amboseli, Tsavo National park and the famous Maasai Mara are just a tip of the iceberg. Its no wonder its most likely the place you will see once you switch to any National Geographic episode.

I personally don't think you can beat the Maasai mara game reserve in Kenya! For seeing the Big Five, and possibly the best place On earth for seeing regular sightings of the Big Cats, Lion, Leopard and Cheetah. I think unlike The Krugar national Park in South Africa, with the manufactured paved Roads - The Open plains of the Maasai mara Gives brilliant opportunities for seeing the big Cats. Also as mentioned here, You're number 5, choice was Serengeti national Park, in Tanzania and featured the Annual Wildebeest Migration, I think this could have been higher on your list due to The Serengeti/Maasai mara ecosystem Between Tanzania and Kenya! And overall for me, making East Africa certainly the number One spot for an African Safari.
