The theatre was built in the middle of the 2nd century AD, on the site of an earlier, Hellenistic, theater.
In the 5th century, chapels were built inside the theater.
Late Roman Period, the theater was used for gladiator and animal fights.
63 meters long, three stories
approximately 17,000 people.
