The poignancy, the raw emotion of this song really got me. There's something about it. All of what truly matters in life is subliminally represented in the simple, relevant lyrics accompanied with the melody and rawness of Gaga's voice. I can hear all of her character's anguish, loneliness and sadness. The way it was written like a dialogue between the two character's added even a deeper meaning to the song and storyline. Nothing can beat the first time I saw this scene in the theatre. I was almost in tears. So viscerally moved by the virginal aspect of seeing it for the first time. Although I will never experience that moment the same exact way again, this song will always have special meaning. I'm so glad that meaningful music can still be made in this current time.
