The patterns are not only in the bastion remnants, but in many other dungeon structures. What is only in bastion remnants are the new patterns that will be necessary to upgrade diamond tools and armor to netherite.

just got done toying around with this, and redstone dust can also be used for a sick, red color, along with amethyst

Ive always wanted this, but adding certain gems/patterns can also amplify your armor in small and unique ways. For example, if you have a gold trimmed helmet, your armor is 10%+ more protected in the nether world, with each armor being able to stack the effect. Or something like adding quartz to the trim will make every crit you land do double damage with a cooldown that decreases when you have more lapiz trimmed gear on.

Hey jevin, if possible with testing something, would the gold trim keep piglings from being triggered? If so this would be major so we dont have to put on a gold piece of armor when getting near them

Well the upgrading Armor from dimond to netherite is much costler then it should be tho since it's not easy to get those stuff

Have you noticed that the armor stand in the smithing table is not in java and it has two hands like bedrock?
